Comparison calibration for temperature sensors — -20°C to +1200°C

We provide complete flexibility: from a single test sensor at one temperature point to tens of sensors covering their full temperature range and all variation in between. No project is too small or too complex. Our comparison calibration ensures minimal measurement uncertainty, using calibrated reference probes and advanced data acquisition.

Temperature range -20°C → +1200°C
Calibration method Comparison calibration (reference sensor vs. unit under test)
Sensor types RTD (Pt100, Pt1000), Thermocouples (K,J,T,N,R,S), Thermistors, custom probes
Batch capacity From 1 sensor (single point) up to 50+ sensors across full range
Coverage variation Full temperature sweep, multi-point profiles, or custom user-defined points
Certification ISO/IEC 17025 accredited certificate, uncertainty budget, raw data included
All variation in between: Whether you need 3 sensors tested at -20°C, 0°C, +300°C or 20 sensors tested across 12 temperature steps — we handle every combination with full traceability.
Precision & versatility

Comparison calibration expertise

Complete coverage from cryogenic to extreme high temperature, handling any quantity of sensors.

-20°C to +1200°C

Our liquid baths, dry-block calibrators, and specialized furnaces cover the entire industrial temperature spectrum. Calibrate sensors used in pharmaceuticals, aerospace, energy, and automotive sectors.

Uncertainties as low as 0.03°C in mid ranges

Single sensor · Tens of sensors

From a single sensor test at one temperature point — to tens of sensors covering their full temperature range. We adapt to your batch size, saving costs and offering volume discounts for larger projects.

Simultaneous multi-sensor logging available

All variation in between

Choose any calibration points across the sensor range. Repeatability tests, hysteresis checks, and full characterisation. We provide raw data, coefficients, and detailed analysis — nothing is left out.

Comparison Calibration workflow

We use high-stability temperature sources (baths, furnaces) and reference standards with accredited calibration. The unit under test (UUT) is placed alongside the reference probe; data acquisition records readings at each setpoint. Our system ensures full traceability and documented performance.

  • Preconditioning and stabilization according to standards
  • Measurement at each requested temperature point (single or multi-point)
  • Uncertainty calculation (reference + UUT + homogeneity effects)
  • Detailed calibration certificate + adjustment if required

Unrivaled flexibility & full coverage

From a single test sensor at one temperature point to tens of sensors covering their full temperature range and all variation in between — our facility is designed to handle prototypes, production lots, and R&D projects. Our clients receive:

Full-range characterization
Inter-point repeatability
Sensor drift analysis
Raw data & polynomial fit
Every calibration order includes a comprehensive report with measurement results, reference data, and measurement uncertainty budget.

"Thermology Laboratory delivers the most reliable comparison calibration service across the entire -20°C to +1200°C spectrum. Whether you have a single sensor or a full batch, we guarantee precision and data completeness."
